The company Greement Courant SA (French for « Running Rigging), founded by Louis Hecklyand Bill Leclerc in 2007, developer of the Nub®, specialised in the preparation, optimisation and racing boat performance, is increasing its team with the arrival of Wil Wargnier in its ranks. The intent is to enhance its development on a local and international level.
With a soaring demand over the past years, in conjunction with the launch of the Nub®– a revolutionary friction block – Greement Courant is now compelled to staff-up. Wil will primarily be the point of contact for the Nub®, until taking responsibility for the rigging & splicing unit in the Geneva Lake region.
Wil Wargnier, 36, married, 2 children.
With a business background, Wil held a number of roles in the sailing industry. He was in charge of sail making at North Sails Switzerland, responsible for the importation of Foiling Moths in Switzerland, commercial manager for ‘classic yachts’ sail making for Elvström-Sobstat, shore team manager for Donna Bertarelli’s D35 ‘Lady Cat’. He is also a great racing team member with impressive results.
